As part of Kinderland Educare Services, Skool4Kidz draws on more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education to deliver high-quality child care services. Its Integrated Thematic Curriculum, designed by Early Childhood veteran Dr. Jane Ching-Kwan, offers holistic, multi-dimensional learning supported by technology and a strong focus on children’s emotional well-being. Skool4Kidz operates 3 large campuses and 16 preschools across multiple Singapore neighborhoods, including Marsiling, Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun, Punggol, Sengkang, Hougang, Chai Chee, and Tampines. The campuses feature distinctive curricula such as Technology at Yishun, Nature at Sengkang Riverside Park, and Outdoor Learning at Fernvale.
Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Marine Parade, responsible for overseeing HR operations across Skool4Kidz Preschool. The role includes managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to support preschool educators and support staff. The Human Resources Manager will administer compensation and benefits, maintain HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with local employment regulations and preschool sector standards. Daily responsibilities include handling employee relations matters, performance management processes, and training and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The role also involves preparing HR reports, supporting organizational change and culture-building activities, and collaborating closely with center leaders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
- Experience managing compensation, benefits, HR documentation, and compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in training, coaching, and supporting professional development for staff in a service or education-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in HR information systems, basic data analysis, and the use of digital tools for reporting and HR process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multi-site operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager, preferably in education, childcare, or other people-centric sectors.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
