About ThunderWear
ThunderWear Asia is a Singapore-based premium men's and women's essentials brand, built on the #nosquishzone promise and The Ballroom comfort system. Our hero products, THUNDIES, SHOCKS, and T.G.I.F., are sold through DTC, retail, a direct subscription model, pop ups, live selling, and growing B2B/wholesale channels across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Australia. We need a creative, platform-native content creator to bring the brand to life on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
The Role
The Social Media Content Creator Executive is the hands-on creative behind our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube presence — filming, editing, and posting content that's built for each platform, not repurposed across all of them. You'll join our existing content team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, who will brief you on campaign themes, brand guidelines, and the audience segments each piece of content needs to reach. Beyond executing briefs, you're expected to bring your own ideas — spotting trends, sounds, and formats before we ask, and keeping our content calendar full without being chased.
What You'll do
- Create and edit content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, retail/in-store visuals, and website imagery — one story, adapted natively to each format and platform
- Help to develop campaign concepts end-to-end: the idea, the visual direction, the story arc, and how it flexes across channels and markets
- Partner closely with the team in real time — jumping into brainstorms, giving and taking feedback, and improving ideas that aren't yours
- Own website and retail imaging with conversion in mind — understanding basic UI/UX principles and what visual choices actually move someone toward a purchase, not just what looks nice.
- Read performance data (engagement, retention, CTR, conversion) well enough to know what a number is actually telling you, and adjust creative direction accordingly — you don't need to be an analyst, but you need to be data-literate
- Research what's working on TikTok, IG, retail, and e-commerce across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Australia, and adapt trends and formats to fit local culture rather than copy-pasting them
- Use AI tools fluidly across the creative process — ideation, image/video generation, editing, copy, research — moving between platforms and tools as the task demands
- Bring a relatable, human point of view to every piece of content — the goal is always "this feels real," not "this feels like an ad", even though you will also be creating ads
- Help build a visual and storytelling throughline that holds together across four different markets without losing what makes ThunderWear, ThunderWear
What We're Looking For
- A strong portfolio showing range: social content, campaign concepts, and some exposure to retail/website visual work
- Filming are a bonus and editing skill are a must, plus comfort writing and pitching a creative idea, not just producing one
- Basic data literacy — comfortable looking at analytics and drawing a sensible conclusion, even without a marketing/analytics background
- Some understanding of what makes a website or retail visual convert (layout, hierarchy, clarity, call-to-action) — this can be instinct-driven, but it needs to be there
- Genuine fluency with AI creative tools, and the curiosity to keep testing new ones as they show up
- A collaborative, opinionated presence — someone who speaks up in a brainstorm and can take feedback just as openly
- Curiosity about different markets — willing to research and adapt rather than assume Singapore trends translate directly to Malaysia, Hong Kong, or Australia
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, lean team where the role isn't rigidly defined and initiative matters more than a job title
Nice to Have
- Experience with B2C lifestyle e-com brands
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms (Shopify or similar) and basic UI/UX principles
- Travel or work experience across Southeast Asia or Australia
- Comfortable occasionally being on camera or in front of retail partners
What You Get
- A genuine seat at the table — this role is built to add to strategy, not just execute it
- Direct, daily collaboration with founders and the rest of the creative/marketing team
- Creative latitude to shape how the brand shows up across four markets
- A front-row seat on a Singapore brand scaling regionally, with room to grow as the team grows
