Agile Project Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to manage and deliver complex IT projects while driving Agile practices across multiple Scrum teams. The role will work closely with senior management, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project implementation using Agile methodologies.
• Lead and coordinate multiple Scrum teams and workstreams across different platforms.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile best practices.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile methodologies, processes, and practices.
• Monitor project progress, iteration throughput, team performance, and overall project health.
• Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, costs, scope, and change control.
• Identify project risks, team impediments, and issues, and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution.
• Work closely with senior management, project sponsors, business teams, IT, operations, and vendors.
• Provide regular project status updates, reporting, presentations, and escalation where required.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication across departments.
• Support troubled teams/projects and drive them towards successful delivery.
• Ensure projects meet business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and expected business value.
• Conduct project reviews and prepare project completion documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, or a related field. Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Proven experience managing multiple Agile/Scrum teams, Agile transformations, and complex IT projects.
• Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Agile certification such as SAFe, Scrum Master, or Kanban.
• Advanced Scrum certification such as A-CSM, PSM II, or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Plan, Jira Dashboards, or similar Agile project tracking tools.
• Experience with Power BI or AI tools is an added advantage.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, leadership, and supervisory skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in a distributed team environment.
• Ability to manage and resolve team impediments and project challenges.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Malaysian candidates preferred.
• Strong command of English and Mandarin is preferred.
