Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for executive, managerial, and operational positions.
- Work closely with management and department heads to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract suitable candidates through various recruitment channels.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, assessments, and selection recommendations.
- Coordinate interview and selection processes with hiring managers and management.
- Prepare and manage employment offers and related recruitment documentation.
- Monitor recruitment progress, hiring timelines, and manpower requirements.
- Maintain an active talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Provide HR advice and support to management and employees on employee relations and workplace matters.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, show cause letters, warning letters, performance concerns, and other employee relations cases.
- Ensure proper documentation, investigation, follow-up, and resolution of employee relations matters.
- Advise managers on the appropriate application of HR policies and procedures.
- Support management in maintaining a fair, consistent, and professional working environment.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, orientation, probation, confirmation, extension, transfer, resignation, and exit.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of HR processes.
- Coordinate exit interviews and review employee feedback to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure employee records and HR documentation are accurate and properly maintained.
Training & Development
- Identify training and development needs in collaboration with management and department heads.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor internal and external training programmes.
- Manage HRDC-related matters, including grant applications, claims, supporting documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain training records and monitor employee participation and development.
- Support initiatives to improve employee capability and organisational effectiveness.
HR Policy, Process & Compliance
- Review and improve HR policies, procedures, forms, and processes to support business requirements.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable employment legislation and company policies.
- Monitor changes in employment-related requirements and advise management on relevant HR implications.
- Recommend improvements to HR processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
HR Operations & Systems
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure HR processes are carried out accurately and efficiently.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
- Ensure HR data and employee records are accurate, updated, and properly maintained.
- Prepare HR reports, analysis, and workforce information for management review.
HR Projects & Organisational Initiatives
- Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives assigned by management.
- Support organisational changes, manpower restructuring, and other people-related initiatives.
- Analyse HR data and provide insights to support management decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend practical HR solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with management and department heads to understand business and people requirements.
- Provide timely HR support and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Build effective working relationships with employees, managers, external service providers, and training providers.
- Handle sensitive and confidential HR matters with professionalism and discretion.
