Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including manpower planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and offboarding.

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview arrangements, employment offers, and new hire orientation.

  • Maintain employee records, HR database, personnel files, employment contracts, and other HR documentation in accordance with company policies.

  • Administer attendance, leave management, probation monitoring, confirmation, contract renewal, and employee movement.

  • Coordinate Training Needs Analysis (TNA), training schedules, HRDC claims, training records, and evaluate training effectiveness.

  • Support performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance appraisals, KPI tracking, and employee development initiatives.

  • Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, counselling, grievances, investigations, and employee engagement activities.

  • Administer employee benefits and welfare programmes, including medical benefits, insurance, company events, and employee well-being initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations practices, company policies, and other applicable labour regulations.

  • Liaise with relevant government authorities (e.g., HRD Corp, PERKESO, SOCSO, EIS, Immigration, JTKSM, and other statutory bodies) on HR-related matters where applicable.

  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with ISO, FSSC, Halal, or other management system requirements where applicable.

  • Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and other management reports as required.

  • Participate in HR projects, policy development, process improvement initiatives, and digitalization of HR processes.

  • Perform any other HR and administrative duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations, and HR best practices.

  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, performance management, and HR administration.

  • Familiarity with HRDC processes and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work independently, handle confidential information, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
