We are seeking a responsible, hands-on, and customer-focused Food Kiosk Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food kiosk. The Store Supervisor will lead the service crew, ensure smooth and efficient store operations, maintain food quality and hygiene standards, and deliver an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate should be confident in managing people, comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment, and able to take ownership of the kiosk's daily performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food kiosk to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Ensure the kiosk is properly opened and closed according to operating procedures.
• Monitor food preparation, product quality, portion control, presentation, and service standards.
• Ensure sufficient food, packaging, and operating supplies are available throughout the day.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or operational issues promptly.
• Ensure the kiosk, equipment, storage areas, and service areas are clean and well-maintained.

2. Team Supervision & Staff Management

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the service crew during daily operations.
• Allocate duties and manage staff deployment according to business needs and peak periods.
• Train new employees on service procedures, food preparation, hygiene, and company standards.
• Coach team members and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work discipline.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented working environment.

3. Customer Service

• Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient, and professional service.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints appropriately.
• Resolve service issues promptly while protecting the company's service standards.
• Monitor customer experience and identify opportunities to improve service.

4. Food Safety & Hygiene

• Ensure all food handling and preparation comply with company procedures and applicable food safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Monitor food storage, temperature control, expiry dates, and product freshness.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitising procedures are consistently followed.
• Take immediate corrective action when food safety or hygiene issues are identified.

5. Inventory Control

• Oversee POS transactions, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure payment procedures are followed accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage, spoilage, and inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with stock receiving, storage, stock counts, and inventory checks.
• Monitor daily sales, product movement, and wastage and highlight unusual variances to management.

6. Sales & Business Performance

• Support the achievement of daily and monthly sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve sales.
• Encourage effective upselling and promotion of selected products.
• Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products and adjust preparation or replenishment accordingly.
• Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, operational issues, and sales opportunities.

7. Reporting & Administration

• Complete daily operational, sales, stock, wastage, and other required reports accurately.
• Escalate operational, staffing, customer, equipment, or food safety issues to management.
• Ensure company policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines are consistently followed.
• Support audits, inspections, promotions, and other company initiatives when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food & beverage, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Able to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable handling POS systems, inventory, and basic reporting.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety.
• Responsible, punctual, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, shift-based position, 6 days work week
• Work includes weekends and public holidays according to the roster
• Primarily based at the food kiosk
• Requires prolonged standing and active participation in food preparation and service
• Must be able to work effectively during busy and peak operating periods
