Your Role

As an Operations Centre Engineer, you'll be responsible for monitoring customer environments, responding to incidents, performing technical troubleshooting, and ensuring service availability across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cybersecurity platforms.

You will also work closely with our Service Delivery, Engineering, and Professional Services teams to deliver exceptional operational support.

What You'll Be Doing

Operations Monitoring

• Monitor enterprise and government infrastructure and cybersecurity platforms
• Respond to alerts and incidents
• Investigate system anomalies
• Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Escalate incidents where necessary

Incident Management

• Log and manage incidents through the ITSM platform
• Prioritize incidents according to SLA
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and principal vendors
• Restore services within agreed timelines
• Keep customers updated throughout the incident lifecycle

Technical Support

Support one or more of the following technologies but not limited to:

• Windows Server
• Linux
• VMware, Nutanix
• Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory
• Wazuh
• Networking
• Firewalls
• VPN
• Backup & Recovery
• SIEM
• EDR
• Endpoint Security
• Email Security
• Cloud Infrastructure

Preventive Maintenance

• Daily system health checks
• Backup verification
• Capacity monitoring
• Certificate monitoring
• Patch verification
• Scheduled maintenance support

Documentation

• Incident reports
• Shift handover
• Knowledge Base articles
• Standard Operating Procedures
• Operational documentation

What We're Looking For

Required

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent
• 1–5 years of IT Operations, NOC, SOC or Managed Services experience, fresh grads are welcome
• Good understanding of Windows, Networking and Microsoft environments and cybersecurity technologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work rotating shifts (where required)
