The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting critical network systems within the finance sector. In this onsite contract role, you will take ownership of F5 load balancing solutions and firewall environments, ensuring secure, high-performing, and resilient network infrastructure for business-critical applications.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancers to ensure optimal performance and availability

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to F5 load balancing, SSL offloading, and application delivery

• Implement and manage network security solutions, including next-generation firewalls, in line with security policies

• Configure and monitor firewall rules, ACLs, VPNs, and other network security mechanisms

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy high-availability, fault-tolerant network solutions

• Conduct performance monitoring, security audits, and vulnerability assessments to minimize downtime and risk

• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security policies, and system changes

What We're Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

• 5-6 years of relevant working experience, with compulsory hands-on F5 experience

• Strong expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM, BIG-IP DNS (GTM), High Availability, and iRules

• Experience leading F5 implementation, migration, upgrade, or technology refresh projects

• Solid understanding of application delivery, load balancing, SSL/TLS, DNS, and TCP/IP

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and exposure to cloud platforms is an advantage

• Knowledge of enterprise firewall technologies and SD-WAN solutions is a plus
