Job Summary

As a QA Automation Engineer at Revolab, you will develop and execute comprehensive automated test strategies to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our AI-powered products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate our backend systems, APIs, and AI integrations, including large language model (LLM) responses and the quality of our text-to-speech (TTS) and speech-to-text (STT) systems.

Your contributions will be vital in maintaining product excellence, catching defects early, and ensuring a seamless user experience in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks to streamline regression testing and increase overall test coverage.

Conduct rigorous API testing and backend validation to ensure data integrity, performance, and seamless system integration.

Create, review, and maintain detailed automated test scripts and test cases specifically for applications, SIT, UAT, LLM outputs, TTS, and STT models.

Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests to validate new features and existing functionalities across the platform.

Identify, document, and track defects clearly using project management tools.

Work collaboratively with the development team to reproduce issues and resolve them efficiently.

Partner with product managers, developers, and data scientists to define quality

criteria and ensure products meet both business and technical requirements.

Analyze test results to provide actionable recommendations. Stay informed about emerging QA methodologies, Python testing tools, and best practices in the AI space.

General Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a strong,

demonstrated emphasis on automation testing.

Experience and Skills

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).

Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Functional knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub) and basic database querying (SQL).

Knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Preferred: Experience with testing AI components, specifically validating LLM responses, TTS, and STT quality, is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities, ensuring effective teamwork across multiple technical disciplines.

A proactive, self-driven approach to identifying edge cases and improving test coverage.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.

Work Environment

Office-based environment with potential for hybrid work depending on company policy.

Reporting

Direct reporting to the CPO.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
