Job Overview
We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee daily logistics activities and support the smooth movement of shipments across local and international markets. The role will work closely with customers, carriers, freight partners, warehouse teams, and internal departments to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics and freight forwarding operations.
• Coordinate import, export, and local delivery arrangements.
• Monitor shipment schedules, delivery status, and operational timelines.
• Work closely with freight carriers, shipping lines, transport providers, and warehouse partners.
• Coordinate documentation and ensure shipment information is maintained accurately.
• Monitor operational issues and coordinate timely solutions with relevant teams.
• Support customer enquiries and provide updates on shipment progress.
• Review logistics workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers and external partners.
• Monitor operational costs and support resource planning.
• Prepare regular operational reports and performance updates.
• Guide and support operations staff in completing daily activities.
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and relevant logistics requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain services.
• Good understanding of import/export and shipment coordination processes.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to manage multiple shipments and operational priorities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common logistics or operations systems.
• Experience managing logistics teams or external service providers will be an advantage.
