Job Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for leading the identification, evaluation, and execution of environmental projects. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and managing the entire business development cycle from concept to commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Market Development

  • Identify, assess, and develop new business opportunities in waste-to-energy, biogas, biomass, and other environmental sectors.

  • Monitor and analyse market trends, regulations, and incentives (local & international).

  • Formulate long-term development strategies and propose growth plans for new markets.

• Project Development & Feasibility

  • Lead project due diligence, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Prepare project proposals, business cases, and investment papers for management or board approval.

• Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  o   Network and develop good working relationships with regulators and related government agencies.

  o   Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, EPC contractors, and off-takers.

  o   Build strategic alliances with technology providers and investors.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s /Master’s in relevant field;

• Min 5 years in environmental or renewable energy project development.

• Experience in project structuring, stakeholder management, and business development.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills; willing to travel.
