Role Description The Commercial Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for managing commercial activities, including preparing quotations, tracking contracts, and following up on inquiries, proposals, and ongoing jobs with clients and vendors. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to service requests, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of maritime and renewable services. The Commercial Executive also monitors market trends, supports pricing and negotiation processes, and prepares regular sales and performance reports. Daily tasks include handling documentation, updating commercial records, supporting tenders and bids, and contributing to continuous improvement of commercial processes.

Qualifications

  • Commercial and Commercial Management skills to manage contracts, pricing, proposals, and business development activities.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability and discipline in Following Up to ensure timely responses, closure of opportunities, and consistent relationship management.
  • Relevant experience in maritime, logistics, energy, or related industries is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working on-site in a commercial office environment and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
