Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Senior Automation Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, calibration, and maintenance of robotic systems and equipment. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing regular preventive maintenance, and ensuring the longevity and reliability of robotic systems to prevent downtime and maximize efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of sensors, experience working with robotic systems, and specific expertise with SCARA robots.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Configuration:
a) Install and configure robotic systems and equipment, including SCARA robots, to meet production and operational requirements.
b) Ensure all installations meet safety standards and operational specifications.
2. Calibration:
a) Calibrate robotic systems and equipment to ensure precision and accuracy in their operations.
b) Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment is calibrated within required intervals.
3.Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
a) Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems and equipment.
b) Conduct regular preventive maintenance to enhance the longevity and reliability of robotic systems.
c) Implement solutions to prevent downtime and maximize efficiency.
4.Technical Knowledge:
a) Apply knowledge of sensors and their integration with robotic systems.
b) Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in robotics and automation.
5.SCARA Robot Integration and Optimization:
a) Utilize knowledge of SCARA (Selective Compliance Articulated Robot Arm) robots for automation in production processes.
b) Oversee the integration, configuration, and calibration of SCARA robots in manufacturing operations.
c) Drive improvements in efficiency and accuracy through the use of SCARA robot technology.
6.Documentation and Reporting:
a) Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and troubleshooting efforts.
b) Report any significant issues to the Automation Engineering Manager and suggest improvements.
Education:
Certificate or Diploma in Mechatronics or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience with robotic systems, including installation, configuration, calibration, and maintenance.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Working Location: Kawasan Perindustrian Pandan, Johor Bahru.
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
