Job Description
This project investigates the use of 3D printed concrete structures for protection against impact loading conditions. The researcher is expected to develop a printing mix design to improve the material resistance and to optimize the structural design against high-rate loading conditions.
The researcher is expected to
- conduct laboratory tests on mix designs
- fabricate 3DPC specimens
- conduct high impact tests on the specimens
- perform FE numerical studies
Job Requirements
- Possess a PhD degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
- Concrete mix designs
- Structural resilience analysis
- Finite element modelling.
- Strong written and spoken communications.
- Open to fixed term contract
