Assistant Retail Manager (Pharmacy)

Location: Klang, Selangor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM 2,500 - RM 4,000 / month

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Retail Manager to oversee the backend operations of our retail pharmacy. In this role, you will bridge the gap between inventory control, administrative management, and team leadership. You will manage backend personnel, handle supplier invoices, and optimize stock levels to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory levels, forecast stock needs, and place timely product orders with pharmacy suppliers and distributors.

Backend Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage backend staff, ensuring warehouse, stockroom, or administrative tasks are executed efficiently.

Data Entry & Invoicing: Key in purchase invoices accurately into the accounting system and maintain meticulous digital records.

Returns Management: Oversee the end-to-end process for product returns, including damaged goods, near-expiry items, and supplier discrepancies.

Systems Management: Utilize AutoCount and Google Sheets to generate inventory reports, track costs, and update management on stock status.

Job Requirements

Experience: 2–3 years of working experience in retail operations, administrative management, or inventory control (pharmacy or FMCG background is a strong plus).

Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to communicate effectively with diverse suppliers, customers, and team members.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCount accounting system and Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel) is preferred.

Attributes: Strong leadership abilities, sharp attention to numerical data, and excellent problem-solving skills.
