Job Responsibilities

• Handle tax compliance matters for a portfolio of individual and corporate clients.
• Prepare and review income tax computations, tax returns, and supporting schedules.
• Assist clients with the preparation and submission of relevant tax documents to the authorities.
• Ensure tax submissions are completed accurately and within statutory deadlines.
• Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and documentation required for tax computations and submissions.
• Assist in handling correspondence and queries from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) and other relevant authorities.
• Support tax audits, investigations, and other tax-related matters when required.
• Provide basic guidance to clients on tax compliance requirements and relevant tax matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for clients' tax files.
• Keep updated on changes in Malaysian taxation regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Perform other taxation-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant taxation experience.
• Previous experience working in an accounting, tax, or audit firm is preferred.
• Good understanding of Malaysian taxation and tax compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with corporate and individual income tax preparation is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple clients and meet statutory deadlines.
