Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting field sales and customer operations, while building strong customer partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support field sales customer & operation

• Ensure needed information is gathered from field sales so that application issues and opportunities can be actively addressed.
• Work with field sales to ensure that quality responses issued to customers, on behalf of by the plant, are closed.
• In co-ordination with field sales, provide representation of the company to the customers.

2. Support field sales personnel

• Function as an escalation point for application, manufacturing and quality issues that arise in the field and in coordination with field sales provide rapid response within Southeast Asia region.
• Align internal resources, clearly document and manage plans that translate the customer’s technical issues into solutions that can be delivered.
• Report to Management the impact of application and quality issues on continuing product usage and future sourcing decisions.

3. Build partnerships with customers’ key technical personnel

• Understand customer’s structures and sensitivities.
• Represent the customer-be their internal advocate for quality and service.
• Represent company at technical chapters and organizations within the region.
• Report important industry trends to management.

Requirements:

• Preferable with 1 year experience in production.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis (RCA), and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and formal customer communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing Plant teams.
• Strong regional awareness with the ability to travel across Southeast Asia when required.
