Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring renovation and construction projects from commencement to completion.
  • Coordinate daily site activities with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Follow up on project schedules, site progress and work sequences to ensure projects are completed according to the agreed timeline.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, materials, site conditions and overall project progress.
  • Coordinate material orders, deliveries and site arrangements to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, progress reports, project documentation and basic cost-tracking records.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant parties.
  • Identify and report project delays, site issues, defects, safety concerns and other potential risks to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure renovation and construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project requirements and company procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating rectification works, handover activities and project close-out.
  • Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction, Building, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Interior Design or a related field.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in renovation, construction or project coordination are preferred.
  • Candidates with limited experience or fresh graduates with good technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, designers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Basic understanding of renovation and construction processes, drawings and site practices.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word .
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant software will be an advantage.
  • Willing to travel to project sites when required.
