Kitchen & Operations Assistant (Full-Time)

Working Days: 6 days per week

About the Role

AWH Food Enterprise is a growing F&B business, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and positive Kitchen & Operations Assistant to grow together with us.

No experience? That’s okay. Training is provided.

We’re more interested in your attitude, willingness to learn and reliability than how much experience you already have.

This position is suitable for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants the opportunity to learn different parts of an F&B business — from kitchen production and packing to stock, customer service and basic sales operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with kitchen production and food preparation
• Prepare and pack customer orders accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen, production and store areas
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Monitor ingredients and basic stock levels
• Inform the supervisor when ingredients or supplies are running low
• Assist with stock arrangement and operational tasks
• Assist with cashier/front-counter duties when required
• Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Help with sales and other shop operations when required
• Take reasonable initiative when work needs to be done
• Follow instructions and Company SOPs
• Perform other reasonable duties related to business operations when assigned

Language

Basic communication skills are required.

English communication ability is important for communication with management.

Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin will be an added advantage due to our working environment and customer communication needs.

Initial Assessment & Probation

Successful candidates may undergo an initial paid assessment/trial period, followed by a 3-month probation period subject to the terms of employment.

Performance, attendance, attitude, ability to learn, teamwork and overall suitability will be assessed during probation.
