Responsibilities
Singapore Raffles Music College (SRMC) is looking for an Academic Support Coordinator to support the operations of the Academic Department. As the Academic Support Coordinator, you will work closely with the Academic Manager to achieve the department goals. You will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment as the college strives for academic transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Academic Manager in the daily operations of the Academic Administration Department, including following up on student academic matters, as well as preparation and organisation of official meetings minutes.
Liaise with other agencies, organisations and groups for academic matters.
Plan teaching schedules and academic resources for academic programmes.
Plan and administer assessments and examinations, including liaison with external examiners and facilitation of appeals and moderation processes.
Manage the filing, storage, accuracy and security of academic documents.
Assist the Academic Manager in the administering and analysis of surveys including the writing of academic reports with the data collected.
Assist the Academic Manager in managing lecturers.
To liaise with University Partner for Joint Assessment Board.
Support initiatives to assist students in meeting academic standards of the College and its Academic Partners.
Coordinate and implement student support initiatives and projects.
Job Requirements
Diploma in any discipline
Self-starter with willingness to explore fresh ideas in student engagement
Creative problem solver with experience in curriculum management
High level of discretion with strict integrity standards in handling confidential matters
Good oral and written communication skills, with ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
Adept in using Microsoft Office and online meeting tools like Teams & Zoom
An understanding of Music and Arts will be beneficial, but not required
