Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an individual contributor role on sales, client engagement, business development, and administrative support work. The position is fully responsible meeting individual sales target, preparing and delivering presentations, drafting business agreements and providing administrative support to department head. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, professional, comfortable in a client-facing setting to present to potential partners, clients, and stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Primary Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Take on sales targets as an individual contributor across different product and certification lines.
  • Generate new sales leads by attending events or presenting to potential partners, clients, and stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.
  • Serve as a client-facing point of contact for certification and sustainability advisory enquiries.
2. Agreement Drafting & Documentation Support

  • Assist in drafting, formatting, and reviewing business agreements, MOUs, partnership proposals, and other related documents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams or external legal advisors for document finalisation when necessary.
3. Administrative Support

  • Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-ups for the Deputy Director of Client Engagement.
  • Maintain organised records of departmental documents, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and updates for internal review or external communication.
4. Others

Help out at major SEC events.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant working experience, ideally spanning client-facing/business development work and exposure to environmental sustainability, certification, or compliance work. Candidates with strong aptitude and experience in only one domain are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfortable taking on sales targets as an individual contributor and presenting to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels in both technical and non-technical settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects, and follow through with attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong team player, willing to learn and progressively take on greater technical certification responsibilities with experience.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for business and audit purposes.
