Job Summary

You will lead the planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated baseline schedules and monitor project progress for timely, cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Apply strong knowledge of construction industry practices and standards to plan and schedule project activities effectively
  • Collaborate with clients, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop fully integrated baseline schedules
  • Coordinate with project team members, contractors, and suppliers to gather inputs supporting program development
  • Prepare baseline schedules incorporating resource allocation and cost loadings to optimize project execution
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for complex projects in partnership with project teams
  • Track, update, and report project progress against planned schedules, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Forecast progress and prepare working and rolling programs, updating resource usage and histograms accordingly
  • Attend key project events to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards
  • Generate operational reports with recommendations for process improvements and modifications
  • Participate in budget preparation and administration, monitoring expenditures to control costs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale construction projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proven ability to track daily progress on site and collaborate closely with frontline staff
  • Demonstrated capability to independently produce detailed programs, narratives, and histograms
