Join the opening team of Avani Singapore and play a pivotal role in delivering one of Singapore's most exciting new lifestyle hospitality destinations. This is a unique opportunity to build the hotel's technology landscape from the ground up, supporting the implementation of critical systems and ensuring operational readiness for a successful opening from day one.

At Avani, we create stylish and seamless experiences for modern travellers. We're looking for an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead the hotel's technology function through pre-opening and beyond. Working closely with the Director of Engineering, Corporate IT, vendors, and the leadership team, you will ensure all hotel technology platforms, infrastructure, and systems are fully operational, secure, and ready to support both guests and team members.

What You'll Do

• Lead the IT pre-opening workstream, overseeing technology infrastructure setup, systems implementation, network deployment, testing, user readiness, and operational launch planning
• Coordinate the installation, configuration, integration, and handover of all hotel technology systems, including Opera PMS, POS, telephony, TV, Wi-Fi, back-office systems, and interfaces
• Work closely with Corporate IT, vendors, and project teams to ensure all technology systems are fully operational and ready for opening
• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimisation of Opera PMS and other core hotel systems
• Support smart hotel technologies and digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience
• Coordinate system upgrades, software enhancements, and issue resolution with vendors and corporate IT teams
• Ensure technology security, data protection, and compliance with company standards
• Provide technical support and training to hotel team members across all departments
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in hotel IT operations, including leadership or management responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS, hospitality systems, networks, hardware, software, databases, and system integrations
• Experience managing technology projects, system implementations, and vendor relationships
• Pre-opening hotel experience is strongly preferred
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of Singapore data protection, cybersecurity, and technology compliance requirements would be advantageous
• Previous IT leadership experience within Singapore hospitality would be advantageous
• Fluent in English
