About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiographer to join the Medical Imaging department at Klinik Utama 24 Jam Seksyen 7 Bangi. As a Radiographer, you will play a vital role in our healthcare delivery, operating advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images that assist clinicians in diagnosing and treating patient conditions. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient care within a modern, patient-centred healthcare facility.

What you'll be doing

1. Operating and maintaining radiographic equipment including X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units and other diagnostic imaging devices in accordance with safety protocols

2. Positioning patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images whilst ensuring patient comfort and safety

3. Applying appropriate radiation protection measures and adhering to radiation safety guidelines for both patients and staff

4. Recording patient information and maintaining accurate documentation of imaging procedures

5. Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns or anxieties

6. Collaborating with radiologists, physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes

7. Performing routine quality control checks on imaging equipment and reporting any technical issues or malfunctions

8. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the imaging suite and ensuring equipment is prepared for procedures

9. Staying current with advances in medical imaging technology and best practice standards

10. Contributing to a safe and professional environment that prioritises patient care and staff wellbeing

What we're looking for

1. Current registration or certification as a Radiographer with the relevant regulatory body in Malaysia

2. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution

3. Proficiency in operating diagnostic radiographic equipment and familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)

4. Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles, radiation protection and applicable legislation

5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

6. Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images consistently

7. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and assist patients with positioning

8. Professional demeanour and commitment to patient-centred care

9. Ability to work within a 24-hour healthcare facility environment, including rotating shifts where required

10. Preferred experience in a busy hospital or diagnostic imaging centre setting
