Responsibilities
About the role
Assistant Supervisor position at a broiler breeder farm. The role involves supervising daily operations, monitoring flock health and production performance, and ensuring proper implementation of farm management programs.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the broiler breeder farm
- Monitor flock health, mortality, production performance and overall bird condition
- Ensure proper implementation of feeding, watering, vaccination and medication programs
- Monitor egg production, egg quality, egg collection and proper egg handling/storage
- Supervise and guide farm leader and workers in their daily tasks
- Monitor farm equipment, housing conditions, ventilation, temperature and lighting
- Maintain accurate daily farm records, including feed intake, egg production, mortality and vaccination
- Identify and report any abnormality, disease signs or production issues to the farm manager/veterinarian
- Assist the Supervisor and Farm Manager in achieving flock performance and production targets
About you
- Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Animal Health, Animal Science, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Willing to work and stay on farm, located at Serdang, Kedah
