Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including reviewing the daily work performed by the Accounts Assistant.
- Handle the full set of accounts for Group Companies.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and year-end closing activities, including:
- Preparation of month-end journal vouchers;
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts, schedules, listings, cash and bank balances;
- Preparation of management accounts for review and discussion;
- Preparation of monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance against the previous year and forecast;
- Preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns;
- Updating of the financial consolidation pack; and
- Handling audit requests and assisting in the preparation and updating of notes to the financial statements
- Assist in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management reporting and other finance-related matters as required
- Assist in other duties, assignments and projects as may be assigned by the Manager or Management from time to time.
