Gateway Search Hiring! Full Time R-D Lead Engineer, Motor System in - Ricebowl

Gateway Search is proud to partner with one of the global leading R&D and manufacturers of consumer electronics products. Due to business expansion in Singapore, they are looking to bring in a R&D Lead Engineer, Motor System.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation, development, and integration of new technology/design solutions
• Coordinate internally and with external partners/suppliers to assess technical and financial feasibility
• Present data-driven findings (value, trade-offs, costs, risks, effort) to stakeholders
• Work with Global Product Marketing and Engineering to validate feasibility of proposals
• Progress and validate solutions with cross-functional teams toward product readiness
• Support engineering teams during integration into product designs
• Build organizational knowledge/capability in technology design

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering (or related)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a track record of delivering products to market
• Strong hands-on experience in motor/electromechanical design (AC, PMDC, or BLDC)
• CAD proficiency (Creo preferred)
• Simulation tools: Ansys MotorCAD, Maxwell, Fluent, or equivalent
• Aerodynamic/turbomachinery design (fans, rotors, impellers)
• Materials knowledge (laminated steel, plastics, metals)
• PLM tools (PTC Windchill preferred)
• Engineering drawing interpretation & generation
• Experience in Working with Global/Regional Supplier landscape
• Experience in Working with Product Development Teams to deliver Motor Solutions.
