Job Objective
To support the Quality Control function by ensuring accurate measurement, inspection, testing, and calibration of equipment and products in accordance with customer requirements and the Company’s quality standards. The role is responsible for operating and maintaining CMM and other measuring equipment, supporting quality inspections, maintaining calibration records, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and Company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CMM and other precision measuring equipment.
- Conduct product and component inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Perform GR&R studies and prepare measurement reports when required.
- Assist the QC Engineer with FA inspection, quality checks, and customer complaint analysis.
- Train new inspectors on the proper use of measurement equipment.
- Monitor and maintain calibration schedules and records for all measuring equipment.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Ensure proper identification and segregation of passed, rejected, and on-hold items.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Company procedures.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and comply with 5S requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments on quality and calibration matters.
- Perform other duties assigned by the superior or Management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in CMM programming and quality inspection.
- Proficient in CMM operation, programming, GD&T, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of GR&R, calibration, ISO 9001, and quality inspection procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, computer, and communication skills.
