About the job

Join Aemulus as an FPGA Engineer to design and develop FPGA-based solutions for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Test & Measurement Instruments (T&MI). You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams on FPGA, firmware and embedded development while contributing to innovative semiconductor testing technologies. Fresh graduates and junior engineers with a passion for FPGA are welcome to apply.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Test & Measurement Instruments (T&MI).

  • Develop and maintain FPGA designs using Verilog/VHDL and relevant development tools.

  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to understand product requirements and translate ideas into technical solutions.

  • Develop and integrate firmware and software components, including Dynamic-Link Libraries (DLL), where required.

  • Work with Applications Engineers to provide technical and development support.

  • Conduct testing, debugging and validation of FPGA and embedded solutions.

  • Share technical knowledge and provide training and development support to Applications Engineers and team members.

  • Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to improve product capabilities and performance.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.

  • Strong interest and passion for FPGA development.

  • Proficiency in Altera Quartus II or Xilinx Vivado.

  • Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL.

  • Familiarity with SPI, I²C, ADC, DAC and control loop operations.

  • Self-motivated, curious and willing to continuously learn.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with FPGA development and ModelSim.

  • Experience in embedded systems and firmware development using C/C++.

  • Experience developing or working with ATE or Test & Measurement systems.

  • Knowledge of DLL development/integration.

  • Experience with FPGA debugging, simulation and hardware validation.
