Responsibilities
This European integrated energy and subsurface engineering group accelerates the low-carbon transition by applying traditional geosciences to clean energy development.
About the JobLocal HR Point of Contact: Serve as the hands‑on HR lead for the Kuala Lumpur office, reporting to the Senior HR Lead based in Europe and balancing daily operations with recruitment.
Operations & Compliance: Manage the complete employee life‑cycle, overseeing contracts, employee relations, local labour law compliance, and vendor management (payroll, benefits, visas).
Full‑Cycle Talent Acquisition: Lead end‑to‑end hiring for technical, project‑based, and specialist roles, while tracking recruitment KPIs and maintaining strong talent pipelines.
Workforce Partnering: Collaborate directly with local managers on staffing priorities, organisational structure, on‑boarding, and day‑to‑day people management.
Industry Networking: Build and leverage professional networks within the regional energy, oil & gas, and industrial sectors to support talent acquisition.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business with 8–10 years blending Talent Acquisition and HR generalist skills within the energy, oil & gas, engineering, or industrial sectors.
Proven track record in specialist/technical hiring combined with strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and local HR practices.
Autonomous, pragmatic, and execution‑driven, with comfortable operating across time zones in a fast‑paced, international setting.
