About the role

To lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting, costing, treasury, taxation, and financial reporting functions of the manufacturing business while supporting ERP integration, process improvement, and operational financial control across the organization. The role is responsible for strengthening financial governance, manufacturing cost control, inventory accuracy, and finance process integration between ERP and warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and overall finance operations

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act, and internal policies

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities

• Manage product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis

• Monitor BOM costing, production losses, and overhead absorption

• Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and stock reconciliation

• Oversee SST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and statutory submissions

• Lead or support ERP implementation and system integration projects

• Strengthen internal controls, financial procedures, and compliance framework

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

• Strong experience in manufacturing costing, inventory control, and financial reporting

• Experience handling full set accounts and treasury functions

• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as AutoCount and manufacturing-related systems

• Good understanding of Malaysian tax regulations, SST, and statutory compliance requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA is preferred

• Experience in ERP implementation and/or ERP-WMS integration projects is highly preferred
