Responsibilities
About the role
Support the Project Manager in project control activities, including progress monitoring, billing, risk assessment, milestone tracking, and performance reporting. Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and specifications to ensure construction works comply with approved designs and project requirements. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with Company SOPs, quality standards, HSE requirements, approved specifications, material requirements, and applicable regulations.
Key responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in project control activities, including progress monitoring, billing, risk assessment, milestone tracking, and performance reporting
Identify, escalate, and report project issues, risks, and delays through appropriate stakeholder forums
Prepare and provide timely progress reports, billing updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and specifications to ensure construction works comply with approved designs and project requirements
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with Company SOPs, quality standards, HSE requirements, approved specifications, material requirements, and applicable regulations
Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to resolve technical and construction-related issues
Work closely with internal departments throughout the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases to ensure smooth project delivery
Support effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to achieve project milestones and quality objectives
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer
Possess a valid CIDB Green Card
Minimum 4 years of relevant site experience with a main contractor, engineering consultancy, or property developer
Proficient in interpreting architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and specifications
Good knowledge of construction quality control, site inspection, material verification, and project coordination
Familiar with MS Project, AutoCAD, and BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks
Good understanding of UBBL, CIDB requirements, HSE regulations, and other relevant statutory requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
High level of integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety
