About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing & QA Engineering Intern to join our Manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment and exposure to production processes, quality control, engineering improvement, and problem-solving activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manufacturing Engineering team in daily production and engineering activities.

• Support process improvement and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.

• Assist in troubleshooting production and process-related issues.

• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Assist in updating work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing-related reports.

• Support time studies, process evaluations, and other engineering improvement activities.

• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.

• Assist the QA team in quality inspection and verification activities.

• Support investigation and analysis of quality issues and non-conformities.

• Assist in data collection, trend analysis, and preparation of quality reports.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Preferred disciplines include Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related fields.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality principles.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong interest in manufacturing and quality.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Able to commit to the internship duration required by the university/institution.
