Lab Safety Officer / Manager (European MNC)
Salary: $6000 max
5 days work week
8.30am - 5.30am
Location: Gul

Job Scope:
Safety Management

-           Implement and maintain workplace safety policies, procedures, and programs.

-           Monitor compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

-           Conduct routine workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.

-           Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions to eliminate risks.

Risk Assessment & Incident Management

-           Perform risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification activities.

-           Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

-           Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.

-           Track and monitor closure of safety actions and findings.

Training & Awareness

-           Conduct safety inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.

-           Organize and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.

-           Maintain training records and competency documentation.

Compliance & Audits

-           Ensure compliance with local MOM safety regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.

-           Support internal and external safety audits and inspections.

-           Maintain safety documentation, permits, records, and reports.

-           Monitors statutory certifications, licenses, and permits related to safety.

Emergency Preparedness

-           Assist in developing emergency response plans and procedures.

-           Coordinate emergency drills and evacuation exercises.

-           Support incident response activities and post-incident reviews.

-           Ensure emergency equipment is available, inspected, and functional

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

            - Track key safety metrics such as incident rates, near misses, and corrective actions.

            - Provide regular updates to management on safety performance

Familiar in dealing with various industrial hazards such as lifting, rigging, mechanical, chemical, electrical, toxic substances etc.
