Master Tec Wire & Cable Hiring! Full Time Quality Assurance Manager in Melaka - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end QA/QC functions, covering incoming raw material inspection (IQC), in-process quality control (IPQC), and outgoing final testing (OQC).
• Lead investigation of internal non-conformances and customer complaints using structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, CAPA).
• Partner closely with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to establish quality benchmarks, minimize scrap rates, and optimize yield.
• Manage calibration programs, laboratory testing protocols, and standard inspection procedures across all lines.
• Plan and execute internal and supplier quality audits to ensure complete supply chain compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill the QA/QC engineering, supervisory, and inspection teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of solid QA/QC experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge Quality Tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP), and Lean/Six Sigma principles (Green/Black Belt certification is a plus).
• Proven track record in handling customer audits, supplier quality development, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.
