The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help us stay tax-compliant and up-to-date on new tax laws.

Summary Of Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the overall Group of Companies corporate tax (direct tax and indirect tax) statutory compliance requirements.
2. Liaise with tax agent and/ or authorities for the preparation of tax estimate, tax computation, tax filing and tax audit inquiries.
3. Act as a key liaison during tax audits and inquiries, coordinating documentation, explanations, and communication with tax authorities.
4. Prepare monthly and year-end tax provisions and deferred tax computations.
5. Prepare Transfer Pricing documents on related companies' transactions.
6. Analyze tax incentives, exemptions and rebates available in Malaysia to support corporate cost-saving strategies.
7. Advise management on all tax implications of business activities.
8. Monitoring compliance of tax compliance and incentives and update management / submit appeal when necessary.
9. Ensure proper maintenance of tax records and documentation to support tax positions taken and audits.

Qualifications

1. At least 5 years experience or above in tax / accounting firm or major corporation.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
3. Strong knowledge of Malaysia tax laws, regulations, incentives, SST, Grants, Subsidies and guidelines etc.
