We are currently representing a premier specialist subcontractor recognized for delivering complex structural steel engineering projects across Malaysia. On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead full-scale project execution—from planning and resource optimization to client management and final delivery—across diverse sectors including industrial developments, commercial buildings, and high-spec data center assignments. Annual Compensation: Up to RM 180,000 PA (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Strategy: Lead structural steel project execution from inception to completion across industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and mission-critical data center developments—developing robust work programs, method statements, and site schedules to hit time, budget, and safety targets.
- Structural & Operational Leadership: Oversee daily site operations for structural steel fabrication and erection; resolve technical, contractual, and operational challenges while coordinating seamlessly with main contractors, civil, structural, and M&E teams.
- Cost & Budget Management: Drive financial control, monitor cash flow, perform cost forecasting, and ensure strategic procurement aligns with budget baselines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in key progress and technical site meetings with clients, main contractors, consultants, and local authorities to build strong, collaborative partnerships.
- Quality Assurance & Safety Standards: Enforce stringent QA/QC protocols and risk assessment procedures to maintain DOSH and local authority compliance while driving a zero-compromise safety culture.
- Team Empowerment: Mentor and lead project engineers, site supervisors, and technical teams to cultivate high performance and continuous professional development.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field.
- Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on project management experience within construction, with a strong focus on structural steel works across industrial plants, high-rise/commercial buildings, or data center projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of local standard contract forms (PAM, CIDB, FIDIC) and regulatory standards.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6) and standard engineering tools.
- Leadership Traits: Decisive problem solver with exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
