AVA Energy Hiring! Full Time Finance Leader in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are looking for an experienced Finance Leader to join our client in Malaysia.

This is a key leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for the company’s financial management, reporting, governance, controls, compliance, and commercial insight.

The successful candidate will:

• Own the monthly financial reporting and year-end close
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Oversee balance-sheet reconciliations, AR/AP and payroll governance
• Manage statutory, tax, audit and Group reporting requirements
• Provide proactive financial insight and advice to the General Manager
• Lead monthly project and contract financial reviews
• Identify financial risks and strengthen internal controls
• Manage and develop finance team members where applicable

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
• Strong general and cost accounting experiences
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communication, integrity, judgement and commercial awareness
• Willingness to travel occasionally
