Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students’ psychosocial needs and develop, implement and review individualised case and care plans.
- Conduct individual, family and group work interventions to address students’ social, emotional and developmental needs.
- Work closely with students, parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary teams, and provide consultation, training and education where required.
- Conduct financial assessments, coordinate community resources and make appropriate referrals to external agencies.
- Identify and manage risks, including crisis and emergency situations, while maintaining accurate case documentation and supporting quality and audit requirements.
- Participate in clinical supervision, uphold professional ethics and boundaries, and engage in continuous professional development.
- Degree in Social Work or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Relevant professional accreditation/registration in Social Work will be an advantage.
- Experience in casework, family work, group work or working with persons with disabilities will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant experience in social service, education, healthcare or community settings are encouraged to apply.
