About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Junior Computer Technician to join our growing team. This is an ideal entry-level role for tech enthusiasts who enjoy working with computer hardware and are eager to build practical skills. Prior experience is not required—we value strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn above formal qualifications. You will receive hands-on training and gain broad exposure to a wide variety of enterprise IT equipment from leading global brands.
Key Responsibilities
Computer Hardware & Processing
- Inspect, test, and diagnose laptops, desktops, monitors, and IT peripherals.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, component testing, and hardware repairs.
- Upgrade or replace hardware components, including RAM, SSD/HDD, batteries, keyboards, and screens.
- Install operating systems, drivers, and essential software.
- Prepare and refurbish computer equipment to meet company quality standards.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Count, verify, and log incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Label, record, and systematically organize IT assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and asset documentation.
- Ensure spare parts and equipment are stored neatly and securely.
Order Fulfillment
- Pick and assemble customer orders accurately against order sheets.
- Conduct final quality control (QC) checks prior to dispatch.
- Pack products securely for courier shipping or bulk delivery.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse.
Warranty & After-Sales Service
- Inspect and diagnose warranty return units.
- Carry out necessary component replacements or repairs.
- Record technical findings and update internal service logs.
General Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Strictly follow company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Assist team members across different operational areas when needed.
- Continuously expand hardware knowledge and adapt to new technologies.
Requirements
- Basic Tech Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of computer hardware and the ability to identify common components.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Practical, hands-on approach with a passion for troubleshooting technical issues.
- Work Ethic: Responsible, punctual, and capable of working both independently and in a team setting.
- Physical Capability: Physically fit to lift, move, and handle heavy IT equipment and stock.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills and a strong commitment to learning.
- Bonus Qualification: Previous experience in computer repair, IT assembly, or electronic servicing is a plus (but not required).
