Responsibilities

The Head of Human Resources is a pivotal leadership role responsible for steering the people strategy of a premier engineering and consultancy firm. This role serves as the primary architect of talent acquisition, HR operations, and organizational culture, ensuring that human capital is perfectly aligned with business growth. The incumbent acts as the vital link between leadership and employees, fostering a workforce dedicated to excellence and national development goals.

  • Drive innovative HR strategies that support organizational expansion in the engineering and sustainable building sectors, ensuring people initiatives directly contribute to business success.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, providing data-driven insights on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Align HR goals with national development objectives, ensuring the workforce is equipped to contribute to the country's infrastructure and environmental targets.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment to attract and retain high-caliber, passionate professionals for diverse and complex technical projects.
  • Lead succession planning and leadership development programs to build a robust internal talent pipeline capable of driving future growth.
  • Direct a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) framework, ensuring technical and professional skill gaps are addressed through strategic training and HRD Corp fund optimization.
  • Oversee daily HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and general office operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage HR digitalization initiatives to modernize processes and improve the delivery of HR services across corporate offices and project sites.
  • Serve as a key liaison between management and staff, championing workforce well-being and fostering a transparent, high-performance culture.
  • Embody and promote core values of integrity and accountability, ensuring employees remain engaged with the company’s mission and culture.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to the Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and internal governance principles.
  • Maintain "Audit-Ready" standards, ensuring all HR documentation meets ISO requirements and statutory compliance.

Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
