We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing industrial sensors, assembling and wiring control panels, and supporting engineers on energy audit projects. This position requires strong hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and effectively on a variety of industrial and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Sensor & Cabling Installation
- Install various industrial sensors (temperature, flow, pressure, etc.) based on project specifications.
- Route, terminate, and label control, power, and signal cables.
- Install power points, cable trays, conduits, and trunking systems.
- Follow cable management best practices (shielding, grounding, signal segregation).
- Conduct testing and verify proper operation of installed sensors and cabling systems.
Control Panel Assembly & Wiring
- Fabricate, wire, and assemble custom electrical control panels from wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
- Mount components such as PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers on DIN rails or panel backplates.
- Terminate internal wiring inside panels.
- Perform panel continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing.
- Ensure all panels meet standards, are accurately labeled, and comply with electrical safety codes.
Energy Audit Project Support
- Assist engineers in installing energy monitoring devices (power meters, CTs, data loggers).
- Set up temporary measurement equipment on electrical panels, machines, or systems.
- Assist with on-site data collection using various measuring tools and instruments.
General Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, electrical schematics, and installation manuals.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure installations meet safety and functional requirements.
- Document wiring diagrams, redlines, and installation records accurately.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures.
- Assist project engineers in testing, commissioning, and energy audit tasks.
- Perform additional site support or electrical work as assigned by project leads.
Qualifications:
- Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
- Valid Wireman Certificate recognised by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
- Candidates without a Wireman Certificate may also apply if they have relevant electrical knowledge and practical experience.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting is preferred.
- Experience in electrical installation, control panels, or instrumentation (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with wiring, cable routing, and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in field environments.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
