Responsibilities

• Timely reporting of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial result and to prepare annual report, annual financial statements and quarterly report in compliance with relevant accounting standards, listing and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare general ledger journals, monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare reports by studying variances, preparing budgets, and developing forecasts
• Support internal and external audits, government regulatory reporting and secretarial related matters.
• Maintain and capitalize fixed assets and process asset movements, complete fixed assets postings, depreciation, reporting and analysis.
• Constant review inventory variances and highlights to Finance Manager for item exceeding tolerance level/ exceptional items.
• Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, lawyers, tax agents and other external parties including regulatory bodies on financing and other accounting related matters.
• Ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
• Ensure monthly closing related works completed on schedule. Such as bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation.
• Any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
• Plan, manage and coordinate for monthly & yearly inventory stock take and investigate if any discrepancies found.

Requirements

• Relevant GL Experience of at least 2 years
• Knowledge of Autocount system would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in computer applications mainly Microsoft Excel.
• Positive working attitude, detailed, responsible and committed
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
• Ability to learn quickly and apply relevant knowledge
• Ability to work in a team environment

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
