We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join the team at Valvola Controls Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory is properly managed, stored, and maintained to the highest standards. Your technical expertise and organisational skills will directly contribute to our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments and inventory against purchase orders and specifications
• Organising and categorising products and components using warehouse management systems and manual cataloguing methods
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure data integrity
• Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving systems in a safe and efficient manner
• Packing, labelling, and preparing orders for shipment to customers with precision and attention to detail
• Performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse equipment and tools
• Identifying and reporting damaged goods, discrepancies, or potential safety hazards to management
• Collaborating with team members to optimise warehouse layout and workflow efficiency
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum educational requirement
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a technical or manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills
• Competency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, with valid certifications where required
• Strong organisational and inventory management skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly as part of daily duties
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Previous experience in the manufacturing, controls, or engineering sector is advantageous
