At ELTA Asia, Procurement plays an important role in ensuring our business has the right materials, at the right quality, cost and time to meet our operational and customer commitments.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the function, strengthen our supplier network and work closely with different teams across the business.

THE ROLE

As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the overall procurement function - from sourcing and supplier management to cost optimisation, inventory planning and supply assurance.

You will work closely with Sales, Production, Warehouse, Engineering and Finance to ensure procurement decisions support both operational requirements and business priorities.

You will also lead and develop the Procurement team, building greater ownership, accountability and forward planning within the function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage procurement plans based on business and production requirements
• Source, evaluate and develop reliable and competitive suppliers
• Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, lead times and commercial terms
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery and service
• Ensure timely material availability and proactively manage potential supply risks
• Work with relevant teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and minimise shortages or excess stock
• Identify cost-saving and value improvement opportunities
• Develop alternative suppliers to reduce supply dependency and business risk
• Improve procurement processes, reporting and controls
• Work cross-functionally to resolve procurement and supply-related issues
• Lead, coach and develop the Procurement team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who combines strong procurement experience with good commercial and operational thinking.

Someone who can manage today's requirements while also thinking ahead about tomorrow's risks and opportunities.

You should be comfortable working across departments, managing suppliers, solving problems and taking ownership from issue to resolution.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline
• 5–8 years of relevant Procurement / Supply Chain experience, preferably within manufacturing or an industrial environment
• Experience managing or supervising a procurement team
• Strong supplier sourcing and negotiation skills
• Good understanding of inventory and material planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Mandarin speaking capability would be an added advantage
