Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis related to project costs.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide cost control strategies.
- Evaluate contractor claims and variations, ensuring fair pricing and compliance with contracts.
- Conduct site visits to assess work progress and ensure cost efficiency.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and analyze project financial reports, forecasts, and valuations.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in cost management.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to optimize project costs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost estimation and contract management in construction.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
