AI/ML Engineer

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Contract: 1 Year

Experience: 2–3+ years

About the Role

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on a 1-year contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining machine learning solutions, with exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG being an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models and applications.
• Prepare, clean, and analyse data for machine learning projects.
• Train, test, evaluate, and fine-tune models to improve performance.
• Develop and integrate Generative AI, LLM, and RAG-based solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML models with applications and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver AI/ML solutions.
• Support model deployment and assist with production troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for version control and development.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data processing.
• Experience working with APIs and integrating ML models into applications.
• Familiarity with Git and software development practices.
• Exposure to LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG solutions is an advantage.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms and Docker is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur.
