1. JOB PURPOSE

Lead the QA/QC team and take responsibility for the company's quality management system, product quality and compliance with customer, ISO, certification and regulatory requirements.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QA/QC Team Management

• Lead and supervise the QA/QC team.

• Plan and assign QA/QC activities and monitor team performance.

• Ensure incoming, in-process and final inspections are properly carried out.

• Establish and maintain inspection standards and Control Plans.

• Train and develop QA/QC personnel.

• Ensure non-conforming products are identified, controlled and properly dispositioned.

ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

• Take responsibility for maintaining and improving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.

• Coordinate external, customer and certification audits.

• Prepare audit documentation and ensure audit findings are closed effectively.

• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions and records.

• Ensure compliance with applicable customer, legal and regulatory requirements.

• Plan and conduct internal audits activities according to the annual audit schedule.

Customer Quality & Audit

• Lead and coordinate customer quality audits and assessments.

• Handle customer complaints and quality issues.

• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Prepare 8D and other customer-required reports.

• Ensure corrective actions are completed on time and are effective.

Product Certification & Compliance

• Manage product certifications such as ETL, UL and other applicable certifications.

• Maintain certification documents, test reports and validity records.

• Coordinate certification renewal, testing and re-certification activities.

• Review product, material and process changes for potential impact on certification requirements.

Calibration Management

• Take responsibility for the company's measuring and testing equipment calibration system.

• Maintain calibration schedules, certificates and records.

• Ensure all measuring and test equipment is calibrated within the required period.

• Control and assess equipment found to be out of calibration.

Product & Process Quality

• Support R&D in new product development, qualification and validation.

• Support FAI and process validation activities.

• Establish inspection methods and quality requirements for new products.

• Ensure product requirements and drawings are properly transferred into production.

• Monitor process quality and drive reduction of defects, rejection, rework and scrap.

Supplier Quality

• Monitor supplier quality performance.

• Manage supplier non-conformance and corrective actions.

• Support supplier audits and qualification.

• Work with SCM/Purchasing to improve supplier quality.

Quality Improvement

• Monitor quality performance including PPM, rejection, rework, scrap and customer complaints.

• Lead quality improvement and problem-solving activities.

• Use appropriate tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC and MSA.

• Work closely with R&D, Production and Engineering to improve product and process quality.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior or management as required.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing quality experience.

• Experience leading or supervising QA/QC personnel.

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

• Experience in customer audits and customer complaint handling.

• Experience with product certification such as ETL/UL is an advantage.

• Experience in calibration management.

• Familiar with 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA and Control Plan.

• Able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience in hydraulic, machining or metalworking industries is an advantage.

• Mandarin language proficiency in speaking and reading is strongly preferred.
