About the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. You will play a vital role in ensuring business operations run smoothly by analyzing corporate performance, reviewing profitability, and supporting daily financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily processes, including the reconciliation of projects/accounts and the analysis of monthly financial data.
- Manage financial functions such as monthly and quarterly corporation performance reviews and overhead cost reviews.
- Analyze sales team profitability and prepare performance sheets covering sales, costs, and profit & loss.
- Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets to generate required financial reports.
- Synthesize large amounts of data to summarize key concepts and articulate them appropriately to stakeholders.
- Ensure the appropriate handling of sensitive information and maintain high accuracy in all assignments.
- Perform additional related assignments or projects as directed by superiors.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
- Experience: 3-5 years of working experience in a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with IF functions, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; Mandarin is an added advantage due to business requirements.
- Attributes: A high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Availability: Ability to start immediately or within a short notice period is considered an added advantage.
