Areas of Specialisation

We are seeking part-time lecturers with expertise in one or more of the following domains:

• Computer Science: Core principles, algorithms, and computational theory.

• Software Engineering: Full-stack development, software architecture, and programming languages.

• Data Science: Big data analytics, data visualization, and statistical modeling.

• Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity: Machine learning, network security, and threat defense.

• Information Systems & Networks: Enterprise systems, cloud computing, and network architecture.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time IT Lecturer, your primary focus will be delivering engaging learning experiences and evaluating academic performance. Responsibilities include:

• Teaching & Instruction: Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical lab sessions for Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s level students.

• Coursework & Assessment: Prepare assignment briefs, design test papers, and mark coursework fairly and promptly according to institutional standards.

• Curriculum Enrichment: Infuse real-world tech insights and emerging industry trends into module delivery and lesson plans.

• Student Mentorship: Provide academic support, guide students through practical exercises, and mentor capstone projects.

• Classroom Administration: Maintain accurate attendance records, track student progress, and liaise with full-time academic leads regarding syllabus coverage.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: Open to Malaysian citizens only in accordance with Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) guidelines.

• Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Strategic Information Systems, or a related field.

• (Note: This role is strictly for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holders. Candidates holding or currently pursuing a PhD are not eligible.)

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of lecturing experience in higher education OR solid hands-on professional experience in the IT/tech industry.

• Teaching & Digital Skills: Proficient in using modern digital tools and learning management systems to present clear, interactive lessons.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written command of English.

• Personal Traits: Dedicated, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about student success and tech talent development.
